This academic year 2016-17, a new school has been started in Madeenaguda under the management of Gautami Vidya Khetra school.
It is located in the same campus of Gautami Vidya Kshetra Madeenaguda.
You can reach to this school, if you go in the Miyapur police station road which is opposite to the Mytri Nagar Reliance Fresh.

Fee for PP1 is around 27K per term(3 term) and one time fee of 35K and transportation charges extra

Very bad behaviour of Primary section coordinator towards teachers. Wondering how much pressure will be there on the teaching staff working under the school management. Especially the lady Coordinator of the school is not at all good, so arrogant...it looks like she is the one who is the boss here. If the staff of the school will be under pressure how the growth of the kids can happen? God bless the kids and their future!!

Looking at the above post of March 15 , It seems to be an internal issue within the management. This forum is for Parents to share their experience about the school, I would be happy if the school has strict Coordinators ensuring thinks works well , I have my child in Canary, Staff / Teaches there is very polite and understanding , I am my wife have interacted with the Preprimary coordinator a few times and we find her very helping. the only issue I had was with the language teacher especially Hindi Teacher as my child did not improve any bit in past one Year.

Uniform not ready even after 2 months of year started.
Bus routes are very long and it takes 1 hr. for my kid to come home for a distance less than 5KM
Not a single promise fulfilled – No Swimming pool, No snacks provide to children as promised.
No Long Tennis, no proper horse riding happening
PRINCIPAL has very bad temper, walks out of parents’ teacher meeting was shocking
Director does not even come to the Parent meeting even after parents requesting
I am not sure why School management / Owners does not look into this issues at all
Is it an IB / ICSE/ CBSC school? no Clarity
India is moving to digitalization and this school still charges 2% extra for use of Any chards for fee payments how legal is it ?

No proper communication from Managment side, Hobby clube not happening and basic things like ID card which are critical for our childerens saftey are not provide even after 3 months of school opening... when Checked with faciltiy Manager he was rude and did not even know how to speak proper english... Do know how these people are recuruted by the Managment.

My daughter studying in Grade 2 in the lovely and vibrant campus of Canary the school in Madinaguda. In this young age, it is very important that kids are nurtured well and made to learn the responsibilities of growing into a young age. I am very happy with the approach of the teachers in teaching the children. The methodology of teaching is very modern and the teachers are very receptive to the feedback from parents and continuously trying to improve themselves. This speaks of the quality of the teachers in this school and the training imparted to them. The school has best infrastructure.
ReplyDeleteThe teaching is activity based which engages the kids to learn new things in a fun way. This way my daughter has learnt so many new things. The care provided for the children is excellent in every way within the school and communication skills improved alot.
The biggest change that I have seen in my daughter is that she has become more organized and her listening skills have improved a lot. Its super fun in having a conversation with her where she describes about her day at school. I am very happy when I see so many positive changes in her.

Well HYD has many schools, which are opened just to make money, money business you know what I saying. :)
DeleteThe atmosphere of the school is warm and friendly, with strong relationships developing between staff, children and parents. The facilities are Very good with Air conditioned classrooms, very good transport facility. The school has a wide gamut of extra curricular activities. Skating, Foot-ball, yoga, are some sports that are taught.
ReplyDeleteGreat opportunity for my son studying 3rd class to explore interests and try new things. The teachers are outstanding and I can trust them fully not only to teach my child academically, both creatively and effectively, but also to care for my child.

ReplyDeleteCanary School does not have any affiliation with CBSE and they are not IB then what are they... Does anyone know ? preschool coordinatore says its IB and then says we are not and then we are CBSE. Very confused ?
ReplyDeleteAs an existing parent, the school is in IB candidacy mode, which is the first step to IB affiliation. It was made clear when we went for counseling that Canary is IB till Grade V and from Grade VI it is CBSE. The management of the school is very transparent and have never hidden the fact from anyone of us. Canary is under Gautami Education Society and all their schools are CBSE affiliated.

ReplyDeleteI am very much impressed with the way my two kids are progressing in Canary. Their skills of articulation have improved and they try to excel themselves in every area. Happy to see them like this and can only hope that they keep doing the same. Thank you Canary..!!

ReplyDeleteCanary is good school. School has all the basic facilities and they are still improving on teaching front. It seems that they have mixed staff - seasoned teaching professionals and freshers. I hope they get IB affiliation ASAP.
ReplyDeleteI am satisfied with my child’s learning and development at the school. Nursery teachers are very caring and responsible, know how to handle child and develop their interests in learning and other activities. I have had very good experience during SLC - all students have done great work and showcased their talents. Kudos to the Canary Team

ReplyDeleteNo studies done its almost end of the year and they still have not taught small abc in preprimary...No rhymes...No phonics....No playing of toys ...., School Teachard & Co-ordinators dont care if eats his food or not and If we they say , We don't force-feed child... aaya amma's doesn't help my child in washroom...Bus leaves my child on road and tells my child we will not drop u in compound..No one has come to pick u..My poor prep baby suffers everyday...They push and fight in bus and security makes 3 children sit in bus...If we ask y...She says talk to my manager...If we call prep Co-ordinator (RASHMI or something is her name ) says its not my responsibility...Admin manager
never responds ... What kind of school ...No one accountable for anything...They don't care except taking money.... even Principal does not have time to respond to our cries.
With the amount of fees the school take, We can have many better and well established schools.
Good Schools are considered to be the 'Temples of Learning'for our children and trust me on this Canary-The school is one amongst them.

Though established recently,Canary-the school is on par with the other established schools in terms of the school premise,syllabus, values, qualified and experienced teachers and co-ordinators, their teaching methodology, the co-curricular activities and the facilities they offer etc which i feel are most important for any child's overall development.
The teachers and the staff are very supportive .Every child is understood, challanged and supported to achieve their goals.
All the children here are respected, cared well and treated as a member of the same family , The Canary Family. It is an extended home for the children.
I thank and appreciate the Management of Canary for nurturing the kids in a way that they are independent kind and responsible both personally and socially.

The reason why i am writing this is, though this is a small thing but as a father i felt i should share this...one suddenly my daughter said Namasthe and greeted me when i came back home from my office and she told me that she learnt it in the school....
Now we keep making her learn things at home, but i guess kids learn it better when they have company of fellow kids and most importantly a teacher who they could look upto...
I was a bit wary about sending my daughter to Canary since it was established recently....but i feel i made a very good choice...
The teachers and staff are very supportive and the management is very supportive and what is very important is....my daughter is happy and excited everyday....

Just to share my experience too, I'm totally happy for having my kid joined in Canary.The pleasant atmosphere with greenery around and the academic importance, makes my kid learn new things every day.unlike many other kids,my kid feels happy to go to school.Thats because ,canary makes kids to learn and not force them to study.And at the same time,through hobby clubs it gives the freedom to enjoy and learn some out of box activities.The teachers and the staff are also well behaved.Persinally I'm very much satisfied with Canary.

I really want to thank the teaching staff for taking care of my child's learning, and the non teaching staff for making him feel at home even at the school.
Me and my wife are rest assured that our kid is in the safe hands and his learning is taken care of. The way they take the personalized care for each and every kid is so commendable. I mean to say when i get to meet the staff to know about my child's performance at the, i feel their passion with which they approach each and every kids overall development.
Sometimes I just cannot stop thanking the school for making my job as a parent easy.

I happened to visit Canary School while in search for my nieces admission in to Grade 1.While we were waiting for the counseling I could make out the way the kids are managed in the corridors and the kind of discipline the Tiny kids followed was amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhile the Campus displayed in their booklet is complete,there needs to be further development done to make it look complete.But the space so far created is maintained well and is good enough to accommodate the activities mentioned in the Counseling.We could see the Skating class happening in school and was amazed at the expertise shown by the kids.
The most important element that made us finalise this school is our interaction with the existing parents who were quite happy. We hope it’s a right decision and look forward to a fruitful association.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Canary school management. I am very much impressed with the way my two kids are progressing in Canary. The teachers and staff are very supportive. My daughter loves the teachers a lot and the teachers are very approachable for parents. My daughter had the most amazing time at Canary and developing in so many ways. She is more confident, balanced and free- thinking child.
